The Supernova Pro LX Pickleball Paddle is part of the next generation "Hyperweave" series from one of the original paddle brands, PROLITE. Bringing the most premium materials and fresh thinking to any paddle line they've ever released, PROLITE's Hyperweave LX paddles are engineered using three layers of carbon fiber per side, as well as interwoven gold or silver fibers in the top layer (your choice) to create a pickleball paddle that looks and performs like no other. The Supernova has the capacity to be the most powerful paddle in the Hyperweave line thanks to its rounded proportions with a full 8" width, and comparatively heavier weight. For players who desire a large surface area for blocking hard drives on defense, or the ability to blast a frozen-rope ground stroke from the baseline, the Supernova Pro LX delivers.
Don't let all the talk of power fool you, however. The Supernova Pro LX is built on a polymer honeycomb core measuring 14mm (0.55") in thickness, with vibration dampening properties baked in, to serve up control and precision when needed. It weighs in at an average of 7.9 oz., keeping it in the medium range but with a bit more heft and head-weighted balance than its counterparts. In addition to the 8" width, the overall length is 15-7/16". The handle is 5" long with a small (4-1/8") circumference, and arrives wrapped in PROLITE's venerable ProTac Cushion Grip which is perforated to mitigate sweat buildup while featuring a combination of comfort and tackiness. The design allows the metallic face to literally shine by placing the printed graphics and PROLITE logo low and out of the way.
Lastly, the Supernova Pro Hyperweave LX Paddle from PROLITE Pickleball wraps the entire perimeter in an innovative Aero Channel Edge Guard engineered to reduce drag. Every detail of the Hyperweave LX series demonstrates PROLITE's commitment to premium materials and premium performance, because that's what the serious pickleball players deserves.
